Wofford Mens Tennis Coach Rod Ray joins us to talk about his role as both a coach and tennis parent.  His son, Ashe, was a top junior player and a member of the Wofford team.
We discuss his tennis journey, his role as a tennis parent, when is the right time to step away, college recruiting, and the future of the Wofford tennis team.
Rod is also working on a project about autism and sports - his other son, who has autism, is a D1 track and field athlete at Garner-Webb University.

Additionally, SCiO uses 3D motion analysis that measures invisible technique deficiencies impossible to see with slow motion video or the naked eye. Once we know that exact speed and range of motion of the deficiency, James Shaughnessy programs a player specific- velocity specific-tennis specific program for the athlete on the ACES machine.
